SEMINAR PROCESS AUTOMATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA

PROCESS AUTOMATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA – SHAPING THE FUTURE OF PROCESS & POWER INDUSTRIES

In the context of process, power, and energy industries entering a phase of profound transformation, with increasing demands for operational efficiency, system safety, and production optimization, the adoption of automation technologies, industrial cybersecurity, digitalization, and artificial intelligence has become an inevitable trend to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.

To bring forward the technology trends shaping the future of process and energy industries, on June 16 in Hanoi and June 18 in Ho Chi Minh City, ESTEC, in collaboration with Siemens Vietnam, successfully organized the seminar series titled “Process Automation in the Digital Era – Shaping the Future of Process & Power Industries,” attracting the participation of numerous business leaders, managers, and technical experts who are investing in, researching, and working across process and power industries nationwide.

In the opening remarks, Mr. Vuong Ngoc Hoang – Director of ESTEC, and Mr. Falk Hohmann – Senior Sales Director, Head of Process Automation and Industrial Communication Asia Pacific at Siemens, emphasized that digital transformation is not merely about adopting new technologies but also about reshaping operational models, enabling enterprises to improve production efficiency, enhance adaptability, and build a strong foundation for long-term sustainable growth.

At the seminar, experts from ESTEC, Siemens Vietnam, and Siemens Asia Pacific shared key technology trends shaping the future of process and energy industries, including:
Shaping the Future of Process Automation
• Industrial Cybersecurity for Process Plants
• Digital Twin for Smarter Plant Operations
• AI-Driven Predictive Maintenance for Power Plants

In addition to in-depth discussion sessions, the Micro Fair area provided hands-on experiences with advanced Siemens technologies integrated and deployed by ESTEC in Vietnam. Participants also had the opportunity to explore solutions from EPLAN, HORIBA, and Mettler Toledo in electrical system design, measurement and monitoring, and industrial weighing, offering a more practical perspective on real-world applications in production and operations.

Concluding the seminar series in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the program not only delivered comprehensive insights into the technological trends shaping the future of process and energy industries but also created a valuable platform for networking among experts, partners, and businesses. Practical insights and engaging discussions opened up new perspectives on leveraging technology to optimize operations, enhance competitiveness, and move toward sustainable development.

ESTEC would like to express our sincere appreciation to the speakers, our partner Siemens, and all distinguished guests for their time and valuable contributions to the success of the program.
